My "Little Sister" had her birthday party on Sunday... she wanted to have a birthday party in the summer since her birthday is in the winter. The cute little thing invited me to her party! Since I spend money on her every week I was thinking about not getting her a gift, but I had to make her a card!
Remember the scrap paper card I made for my friend Amy? I whipped another one up for Jade! I was inspired by this post to do a little more. It didn't turn out exactly the way I planned, but still dang cute!
I used a spellbinders die to cut some shapes, then used three layers of foam tape to adhere the shape with the sentiment.
I seriously LOVE how quick and easy these cards are!
Very, very cute! You're inspiring me to try some of these.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thanks for popping by my blog. You mentioned using blending pens - the way I do it is that I press the stamp pad onto either a ceramic plate or an acrylic block so that there is a little ink there, and then pick the ink up from there with the blender pen. I only pick the ink up directly from the pad when I want a really strong colour. Over at One Layer Wednesday I saw a blog which showed this process that I thought you might like to look at: http://craftytexanstidbits.blogspot.com/2011/09/card-patterns-132-meets-one-layer.html And I look forward to seeing your new coloured images on your blog. :-)
