I have a ton to do today to get ready for my NEW JOB on Monday but I wanted to do a quick update. I will be participating in my first ever online crafting challenge. Moxie Fab World has challenges at least every week (I'm so new to this I don't know how often). I decided to at least try and see what I came up with.
This challenge is the Chevron Chic Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. You can check out Cath's post here and submit your own work!
I created this yesterday when I needed a break from Erin's project. I'm not sure if I have the idea right. I don't know if there has to be white in between the color stripes or if the tips need to be more pointed instead of round... but I like the card so I'm submitting it!
Later in the day yesterday I realized I used something similar in a page I did for my wedding album:
It's a page dedicated to the sweets at our wedding. The Portal Companion Cube cake and the candy bar. Hense the lollipops!
Those lollipops took a long time!
I love my camera. I do. It's so small and easy to just take out and quickly snap pictures to get the general idea. Problem is I can't take very good photos of my work and it's really hard to get good shots of the detail. I might have to buy a roll of film and break out my dad's old 35mm so I can focus on the objects I decide need to be focused!
Cute card and I love that layout. Thanks for sharing some inspiration!
