I should've asked you a long time ago how you do it.

I'll have to post an update on what's happened since I wrote this entry and what I've found works so far. Your suggestions helped me a lot!

<3Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04023400133189757809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3285157136935550092.post-67466967789177893162013-08-11T03:14:57.907-05:002013-08-11T03:14:57.907-05:00Oh dear! When I'm stamping big background stamps, I do it backwards - I place the stamp with the rubber facing up and place my paper onto the stamp. Then I carefully rub all over the paper (not moving it, or it will smudge) so that all parts of the paper touch the stamp. I can't get an image without blank spots if I stamp the rubber down onto the paper with big stamps.

After our "chat" I bought some distress inks. Love those! I have also ended up with some new SU! ink pads - I'm hating those, they're so juicy I cannot get a crisp image. I'm still using mostly old SU! pads, PTI, Memento, and Hero Arts die inks.

I hope you find an ink, stamp, and paper combination that you love very soon! :-)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10593478482380900371noreply@blogger.com
